Warriors Edged by Scott

Ottumwa -- The IHCC women's soccer team came up short in its attempt to snap a four-match losing streak on Monday. The Warriors were nipped by Scott CC, 4-3, at the Walsh Soccer Complex.

Indian Hills got goals from sophomores Brooke Duea (Earlham) and Caroline Gagliardi (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and one from freshman Angel Daub (Afton). Gagliardi also assisted on one of the goals for IHCC.

Freshman goalkeeper Abby Donnolly (Mt. Pleasant) was credited with 13 saves for the Warriors.

Indian Hills will host Hawkeye CC this Saturday afternoon at 4:00 at the Walsh Complex. It will be the first of three matches in four days for the Warriors, who play in Des Moines against the Grand View JV on Sunday and at Marshalltown next Tuesday.
